1. About this website

This website gives information about our restaurant: our food, opening hours, location and how to contact us. It is not an online ordering system. Orders are placed in person, by phone or by email.

2. Accuracy of information

We try to keep this site accurate and up to date, but dishes, prices, availability and opening hours can change without notice. Nothing on this site is a binding offer. Please call us to confirm anything important before you travel.

3. Orders

• An order is confirmed only when we accept it in person, by phone or in writing.
• Prices are those displayed in the restaurant at the time you order, and include applicable taxes unless we say otherwise.
• Bulk and catering orders need advance notice, a confirmed count and, where we say so, an advance payment.

4. Cancellations and refunds

Bulk or catering orders cancelled at short notice may not be fully refundable, because we buy ingredients in advance. We agree the cancellation and refund terms with you when we confirm your order. If something is wrong with your food, please tell us at the time and we will put it right.

5. Food, allergies and dietary needs

Our kitchen handles many ingredients, including coconut, groundnut, dairy, gluten, mustard and other spices, and traces can pass between dishes. Please tell us about any allergy or dietary requirement before you order. We will do our best to advise you, but we cannot guarantee that any dish is completely free of a particular ingredient.

6. Behaviour in the restaurant

We may refuse service or ask a guest to leave where their behaviour puts our staff or other guests at risk, or where the law requires it.

7. Intellectual property

The Chef Book name and logo, and the photographs and text on this site, belong to Chef Book or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without our written permission.

8. Links to other sites

This site links to third-party services such as Google Maps. We are not responsible for their content or policies.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Chef Book is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10. Privacy

We handle your personal information as described in our privacy policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published on this page when you visit is the one that applies.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Kollam, Kerala.
